An artisan-led retail pop-up is heading to Surfers Paradise for a six week run this holiday season. Fort Kingsley Holiday Pop-Up Shop will hit Mermaid Beach this weekend, where shoppers can find locally made gifts, books and vintage treasure. Check out handcrafted wall gems, hair pins and jewellery from Rebecca Norman and organic skincare from Mullumbimby by Essential Harmony Skincare, plus so much more. The launch party takes off this Saturday afternoon, with vinyl DJs and a feast from D’s Burgers to kickstart the Christmas spirit.

The Well community centre is bringing back its annual Twilight Markets to kick off the holiday season in mid-November. With more than 30 stalls from local makers, plus live musical entertainment and food trucks, this celebration is all about bringing the community together. The Well in Upper Coomera will open up its function centre and classrooms for a range of Christmas-themed activities, including snowflake decorating, a reindeer food station, glitter tattoos, a petting zoo, festive carnival games, plus a visit from Father Christmas.

This year, Journey 2 Learn will transform Robina Community Centre into a sensory-friendly Christmas experience where every child is welcome. Like any other Christmas market, this inclusive, free-entry event will feature market stalls, holiday activities and the chance to get a photo with Santa, plus a chance to win a gourmet picnic hamper when registering attendance.
Tamborine Mammoth Twilight Christmas Markets – Friday November 28
Tamborine’s Bearded Dragon Hotel is amping up to bring one of the biggest markets to the Scenic Rim this Christmas.
